The PVS-14 External Battery Adapter™ is a patent-pending power solution designed to extend the operational endurance of PVS-14 Night Vision Monoculars through integration with an external battery pack. Weighing just 19.8 grams—less than a standard AA battery—the adapter provides a lightweight solution for extended-duration operations without adding unnecessary equipment burden.
In continuous testing, the adapter successfully powered a PVS-14 for 90 consecutive hours, providing dependable performance for sustained field use.
The adapter contains a unique circuit board that takes the two 3V circuits from the external power supply and converts them to a single 1.5V circuit conditioned to behave exactly like an AA battery.
Designed for direct installation into the PVS-14 battery compartment, the adapter replaces the existing battery and its cap to provide a secure connection to an external battery pack. Its straightforward configuration allows operators to rapidly integrate extended power capability while maintaining a compact, mission-ready setup.
